Adrian is a lifelong carpenter from Yorkshire who loves the creative side of the craft — shaping raw material into something thoughtful, beautiful and built for long‑term use. He has a particular interest in projects that are more unusual, whether that involves selecting distinctive slabs, incorporating live edges (as seen in the dining table and benches on our portfolio page) or shaping a new idea from first principles. If you have an idea that is slightly unusual or not represented on our website, you are very welcome to get in touch, as he enjoys undertaking a wide variety of work and the problem‑solving that comes with new projects.

Kristina, formerly a physics teacher and always a maker, looks after the detail and finish of every project. Alongside the preparation and hand‑painting, she manages the technical and organisational side of the workshop, refining processes, planning work and bringing a naturally analytical, detail‑driven approach that keeps each project running smoothly from start to finish.

Everything we make in our workshop is proudly British‑made, designed, built and hand‑finished here by us. We also carry out occasional installation work for partner brands, and some of those projects appear in our portfolio alongside the pieces we craft ourselves.

As a small family business, we understand the value of working with people who care about their craft, so wherever possible we source our materials and consumables from other small British workshops and local suppliers whose standards match our own. Supporting British makers is part of how we work and part of what keeps our supply chain reliable, transparent and close to home.

Together, we design and build made‑to‑measure furniture and bespoke kitchens with a focus on thoughtful details, practical use and long‑lasting quality. From first sketch to final coat of paint, each piece is shaped with care and a clear sense of purpose. More about how we work is outlined in our process.

In the workshop, we’re also accompanied by our basset hound, who specialises in long‑distance supervision from the comfort of her sofa.
